As the Fixed Operations Manager, you will lead the service and parts team. You will oversee the daily operations of the Service Center and Parts Department, managing a team of advisors, technicians, and support staff effectively. The role demands a focus on providing the highest level of customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the Drive Lane flow, ensuring customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
  • Take responsibility for the customer’s experience by completing additional tasks that leave a positive impression.
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, via phone or in person, to prevent mishandling.
  • Ensure the daily inventory of technicians’ time is consistently utilized by service customers.
  • Allocate work among technicians efficiently.
  • Hire, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of service department staff.
  • Set and strive to meet departmental goals and objectives.
  • Comprehend and comply with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Manage the parts sales process from beginning to end.
  • Update customers on parts status and maintain friendly, professional communication with staff and customers.
  • Understand the parts catalog for accurate lookups. Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and offer information.
  • Verify body shop estimates to ensure correct parts ordering and pricing alignment.
  • Deliver high-level service to both internal and external customers.
  • Conduct weekly bin checks for stock accuracy.
  • Order urgently needed out-of-stock parts or shop materials.
  • Source and order emergency out-of-stock parts from external suppliers if needed.
  • Ensure all internal parts requests are billed on service repair orders.
  • Process payments from retail customers or secure credit authorization.
  • Organize orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pickup.
