Anderson Auto is seeking an Internet Product Specialist to become part of our team. The role involves assisting customers via online leads and delivering outstanding customer service. This vital position plays a direct role in the success of our business operations.

The Internet Product Specialist is tasked with identifying customers through internet leads and offering unparalleled customer service, thereby crafting an unforgettable car purchasing experience. The specialist ensures that all transactions are conducted seamlessly, achieving the utmost customer satisfaction and fostering long-term loyalty.

Essential Functions

  • Respond promptly to internet inquiries to meet client needs effectively. Possess comprehensive knowledge of all dealership products, inventory, and services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by creating a friendly environment, greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining high standards, and demonstrating solid product knowledge.
  • Be accountable for selling vehicles and meeting dealership-defined sales and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Work with the sales manager to achieve new and used car sales targets and profit margin goals.
  • Greet customers warmly and follow the established sales process consistently.
  • Use floor time efficiently to address customer needs and boost sales.
  • Identify each customer’s vehicle requirements through careful questioning and listening.
  • Showcase and test drive vehicles.
  • Ensure customers are qualified for their desired purchases.
  • Keep up to date with new products, features, accessories, and their advantages for customers.
  • Implement a follow-up system to foster repeat and referral business, enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about automobile industry terminology and product technology advancements.
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections and road tests before customer delivery.
  • Complete vehicle deliveries post-purchase, ensuring customers understand the vehicle’s features, warranty, and paperwork, thereby building customer loyalty.
  • Handle telephone interactions courteously and efficiently.
  • Address customer complaints with empathy and a positive attitude, reinforcing our dedication to excellent customer service and boosting customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1-3 years of experience in sales or customer service, and automotive sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
