  • Experience with oil changes and tire rotations is desirable.
  • A minimum of three years of licensed driving experience and a clean driving record are preferred.

Qualifications

Summary

Lube Technicians efficiently carry out tasks detailed in maintenance and repair orders, adhering to dealership standards, thereby enhancing the safety and comfort of our customers.

Essential Functions

  • Provides outstanding customer service to all clients, both external and internal, by offering reliable vehicle services.
  • Conducts lube oil and filter services, tire rotations, and more, in a professional manner.
  • Carries out vehicle inspections as needed.
  • Assesses management, production, and quality requirements through inquiry and attentive listening.
  • Keeps equipment operational and the workspace safe, tidy, and well-organized.
  • Accepts service tasks from the service writer or manager.
  • Completes ‘lube’ work within the designated time frame. Sets objectives, enhances skills, and consistently improves efficiency levels.
  • Keeps the work area clean and helps maintain an orderly shop.
  • Ensures all necessary paperwork is completed and filed post-job.
  • Maintains up-to-date technical qualifications by completing required training.
  • Ensures vehicles are cleaner upon job completion than when initially received.
  • Executes all responsibilities safely, promptly reporting any incidents or hazards to management.
  • Arrives for scheduled shifts punctually, prepared to execute job duties effectively.
  • Complies with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Undertakes additional duties as assigned.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This full-time position has a flexible schedule to align with the service department’s operational hours. It frequently involves working evenings and weekends.
