Mills Automotive Group seeks a Parts Manager to head our parts department. We desire a dynamic, employee-centric manager who excels in delivering results. The role involves close collaboration with upper management and sales associates to meet the business’s needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all employees adhere to their assigned work schedules and comply with policies on absenteeism, reporting, and tardiness.
  • Set goals and objectives for the department and endeavor to achieve them.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, advise, and evaluate the performance of the parts department staff.
  • Provide courteous and professional assistance to customers, supplying the information they need.
  • Oversee stock ordering processes.
  • Ensure incoming inventory is stored in the appropriate location.
  • Maintain an inventory level that meets the needs of the specified areas.
  • Price parts and accessories accurately using the correct pricing source and update the computer system accordingly.
  • Implement safety protocols. Exhibit behaviors that align with the company’s values during all interactions with customers, colleagues, and vendors.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Preferred candidates will have prior automotive sales managerial experience.
  • The role demands excellent communication and customer service skills, an understanding of inventory control, and strong computer and phone skills, including proficiency in Internet, MS Outlook, and CRM systems.
  • Professionalism, a strong work ethic, a current, valid driver’s license, and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are also necessary.
