Berglund Toyota seeks an experienced Sales Manager to become part of our team. We belong to the Berglund Automotive Group, a respected and established entity with ten locations, representing twenty automotive brands across Southwest and Central Virginia.

In the role of Sales Manager, you will manage Internet leads, desk online deals, and supervise the daily activities of our sales department. Your responsibilities include driving sales performance and guiding a team of dedicated sales professionals. The primary goal is to achieve and surpass sales goals while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the sales team is following up on Internet leads using email, phone and live chat scripts and templates, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, and coaching to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Build rapport and relationships with customers to enhance customer experience and business growth.
  • Set sales goals, objectives, and targets for the sales team and monitor their progress.
  • Assist in closing deals.
  • Utilize CRM for tracking and following up on all sales leads.
  • Manage showroom, online, and phone traffic.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and service, to streamline operations and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Maintain a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and teamwork.
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve any issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an automotive sales manager.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional sales and negotiation abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive industry trends and products.
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales management tools.
  • High level of customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
