Auto Park Ford Sturgis is in search of a highly motivated and seasoned professional to serve as our Store Manager. This full-time, salaried role is based at our dealership in Kendallville, Indiana. The Store Manager/Business Office will be responsible for supervising and managing all facets of the dealership’s business activities, encompassing sales, customer service, finance, and administrative duties. We seek a proactive leader who can propel sales and revenue growth while upholding outstanding customer satisfaction and fostering a constructive team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the dealership’s daily operations, encompassing sales, customer service, finance, and administrative tasks.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to increase revenue and achieve business objectives.
  • Recruit, train, and oversee a top-performing sales and administrative team.
  • Cultivate a positive and professional work environment, offering guidance and support to staff as necessary.
  • Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction by promptly addressing and resolving any issues or complaints.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, making necessary adjustments and improvements.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and manage pricing, discounts, and promotions.
  • Compile and present financial reports to senior management.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments, such as service and parts, to deliver a cohesive customer experience.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of five years’ experience in sales and/or management within the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership abilities and team management experience are essential.
  • Applicants must have a demonstrated history of driving sales and meeting business objectives.
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and procedures is necessary.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are crucial.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities concurrently is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dealership management software is a must.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, is also required.
