Position: Sales Manager at Clay Cooley Mitsubishi of Arlington

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and professional Sales Manager to support our growing sales force and meet increasing demand. We are committed to hiring a top-notch performer with a proven track record of success who can help create exceptional experiences for our customers.

Employee Prerequisites:

  • Complete the onboarding process within days of applying!
  • Advanced knowledge of automotive sales management. Pay based on experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of automotive software is a plus
  • Maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance

Job functions include but not limited to:

  • The Sales Manager is responsible for hiring, training, motivating, counseling, and monitoring the performance of sales representatives. Demonstrating leadership, the Sales Manager sets a clear vision and establishes annual and monthly objectives for used vehicle unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profits.
  • Engaging directly with customers, the Sales Manager develops enriching relationships to build a strong network of clientele and prospects and leads the negotiation process to ensure customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing.
  • The Sales Manager reviews market analyses and sales reports to identify customer needs and volume potential and develops sales campaigns that align with the dealership’s goals. They also investigate business metrics to address shortfalls and implement action plans to improve performance.
  • In partnership with the General Manager, the Sales Manager plans and conducts vehicle inventory, innovating to reduce costs and manage efficiency and profitability.
