Responsibilities:

  • Establishing a clear vision and objectives for the sales team to reach specific targets in new and used vehicle sales and profitability.
  • Motivating the team to meet key objectives, performance standards, and adopt best practice procedures.
  • Leading the business with active participation in daily operations.
  • Guaranteeing prompt lead response, thorough question resolution, and providing information to ideally schedule a store visit.
  • Overseeing lead follow-up to support them through their research phase until they are ready to purchase a vehicle.
  • Ensuring a smooth transition for customers from phone and internet inquiries to the in-store experience.
  • Overseeing the negotiation process with Product Specialists to ensure customers are informed about their vehicle purchase options and pricing.
  • Evaluating vehicles for trade-in.
  • Overseeing customer traffic in all three domains: Showroom,
  • Internet, and Phone.
  • Managing the inventory of new and used vehicles.
  • Assisting in managing controllable expense elements for the New and Used Vehicle Departments
  • Analyzing the business to determine shortfalls and developing action plans to improve performance

Requirements:

  • Dealership Management experience
  • F&I experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proven success in automotive sales
  • Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others
  • Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
  • Ability to drive an exceptional Customer experience
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organization and follow-up skills
  • Experience and desire to work with technology
  • Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
