In the role of Sales Manager, you will oversee the dealership’s profitability by managing variable operations.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Coach the sales team on proper closing techniques through hands-on training and active participation.
  • Lead your teams to profitability.
  • Manage all showroom activities and uphold a high level of product knowledge.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction scores and analyze these metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Recruit, inspire, and evaluate the performance of the New and Used team, Internet Sales, Finance Managers, and Service Drive sales.
  • Facilitate daily and weekly sales training sessions for Product Specialists.
  • Guide both new and seasoned sales representatives on best practices to enhance performance.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with all potential buyers by developing, implementing, and overseeing a CRM system.
  • Meet or exceed forecasted goals and objectives for dealership and OEM sales, gross profits, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.

What you need to bring to the table:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience as a Sales Manager, overseeing all variable operations of a successful dealership is required.
  • The candidate should have a proven track record of assembling and coaching a sales team, achieving strong Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores, and generating above-average gross and net profits for the department.
  • A robust background in increasing showroom and internet traffic, utilizing SEO and SEM strategies, direct mail, and other traditional media is essential.
  • The candidate should also have extensive experience in leading a Business Development Center (BDC) and some experience with purchasing, merchandising, and marketing pre-owned vehicles.
  • Additionally, expertise in managing the daily activities of desk managers and enhancing Finance & Insurance (F&I) revenue through guidance and training is crucial.

Salary: $84,000 – $240,000/annually

*Pay is based on applicable experience and skills. This job is eligible for commissions based on individual sales metrics.
