Responsibilities

  • Oversee service orders and the flow of the Drive Lane, ensuring customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
  • Take ownership of the customer’s experience by completing additional tasks that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression.
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, via phone or in person, to ensure the customer is handled properly.
  • Ensure the daily inventory of technicians’ time is consistently utilized by service customers.
  • Efficiently distribute work among technicians.
  • Respond to technical inquiries about vehicle issues, warranties, services, and repairs.
  • Keep Customer Satisfaction scores at or above company standards.
  • Assist in vehicle problem diagnosis, ordering parts and tools as necessary.
  • Manage the administration of warranty claims, and oversee the training and supervision of the service department.
  • Set schedules and assign tasks to service department staff.
  • Uphold company policies and adhere to company standards.
  • Promote compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with factories and foster good employee relations.
  • Work with upper management on service department hiring and disciplinary decisions.
