We are on the lookout for professional, dynamic, and high-performing individuals to enhance our fast-paced Service Department. As a Service Advisor, you will be solely and fully accountable for ensuring our customers’ complete satisfaction and managing the overall customer experience. You will be the initial point of contact for our customers, requiring a thorough understanding of maintenance items, service repairs, automotive products, and services, as well as the overall customer service experience. Your role includes providing a prompt, professional, and warm welcome, adhering to a consistent and proven service process, and maintaining clear communication, all within a team-oriented environment. Service Advisors are authentic automotive experts who take pleasure in assisting clients and colleagues alike. We welcome candidates with limited automotive industry experience but require prior involvement in an automotive customer service, automotive retail sales, mechanical fleet, or hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain the flow of the Service Lanes throughout the day and evening, ensuring that all customers receive prompt and courteous service, thereby providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Take full responsibility for the customer’s service experience by adhering to a consistent and proven service process, along with additional tasks that enable the dealership to make a positive and lasting impression on our valued customers daily.
  • Provide automotive and product knowledge assistance, offering concierge support and guidance for all customer inquiries related to their vehicles, whether via phone, email, text message, or in person, to ensure the client is properly handled and not mishandled or misguided.
  • Present all vehicle diagnostics, service repairs, maintenance services, and recommended and scheduled services from our trained technicians to promote reliable, worry-free driving for our service customers.
  • Distribute work among technicians efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Candidates are required to foster an organized, professional, and friendly environment for our clients and to structure a framework for fellow employees.
  • They must possess the ability to manage and exceed the expectations of our clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in time management is essential to meet or surpass assigned deadlines, guarantees, and commitments.
  • The role demands a focus on effective communication and the development of business relationships with customers, as well as sharing team-building skills with co-workers.
  • A professional and well-groomed appearance is mandatory. The candidate will contribute to cultivating effective ideas and automotive best practices.
  • A team-oriented focus and a drive to inspire a consistent customer-centric attitude are critical.
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a customer service, retail sales, or hospitality setting, as well as in the automotive industry, is required.
  • A clean driving record is necessary, and candidates must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
