Who Your Customers Are and How This Role Delivers

Your external customers include our clients, prospects, and members of the business community. Internally, you will serve Principle Auto associates, vendors, and contractors. You will add value by treating all customers with the utmost integrity, honesty, and respect.

Requirements

The Service Director will oversee all service associates to ensure our customers receive the best possible experience.

Responsibilities of the Service Director Include:

  • Maintain excellent CSI surveys
  • Able to train, coach, and develop associates
  • Exceed the customer’s expectations as to the overall service experience
  • Engaging and motivating the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations and best practice processes
  • Attracting, developing and retaining the very best talent for the store
  • Creating an exceptional customer experience to drive customer loyalty
  • Ensuring the Service area is retail-ready with proper displays, point-of-purchase information and visible competitive pricing for maintenance products
  • Managing the business in accordance with dealership and manufacturer requirements and processes
  • Driving the business through a high-level of involvement in the day-to-day operations

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • History of success in a Service Director position
  • Must be proficient in English.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Ability to work comfortably with the public.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Valid state of residence driver’s license.
  • Required to pass a drug test and background check.
  • Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
  • Proven ability to attract, develop and retain great talent
  • Strong financial and business acumen and the ability to drive revenue and profitability
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organization and follow-up skills
  • Experience and desire to work with technology
