Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with servicing and repairs, providing detailed explanations of each service required.
  • Understand the customer’s needs, matching their requirements and concerns with various service options.
  • Keep the customer informed and updated throughout their vehicle’s service process.
  • Stay current with new products, features, and accessories, and participate in required product training.
  • Implement a customer follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business, enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Hire and manage all service department staff, monitoring their performance in customer service.
  • Develop goals and objectives for the department, including an annual operating budget and a marketing plan to attract new business.
  • Ensure a high Customer Service Index (CSI) by addressing customer complaints promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years’ experience as a Service Manager is required, with a strong emphasis on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or higher education, possess a clean driving record, and hold a valid driver’s license.
  • An ambitious personality, keen to advance and capable of collaborating with and bolstering internal teams, is essential.
