Responsibilities – Service / Parts Manager:

• Oversee the service and parts departments, technicians, and service advisor/parts staff.
• Motivate, train, develop, and reward employees. Forecast sales, gross profits, and expenses.
• Encourage and inspire advisors to secure customer loyalty.
• Attend managerial meetings and conduct weekly service department meetings.
• Maintain a CSI score at or above the national average and address all guest issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Train advisors, technicians, and counterpersons in dealership procedures.
• Manage technician productivity and collaborate with the shop foreman to ensure vehicles are serviced correctly and promptly.
• Interact with external vendors and other dealership management.
• Develop and implement effective customer relations policies to maintain excellent CSI.

Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years’ experience of Automotive Service Management
• Service Technician experience and/or good technical aptitude
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies and mechanical operations
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to manage, motivate and develop a team
• Ability to be analytical, problem solve and multi-task
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Strong written and communication skills
• Experience with CDK or other automotive software
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Consistent and stable work history
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
