We are currently in search of an Automotive Tech Line Specialist who has in-depth knowledge of Ford Mustang and other Ford performance vehicles. General Summary

We are on the lookout for an Automotive Tech Line Specialist to enhance our team. The perfect candidate should be well-versed in high-performance parts, possess robust technical expertise, and have a friendly disposition. This role involves assisting customers through phone calls and written communications, with comprehensive knowledge of engines, drivetrains, and suspensions.

The Automotive Tech Line Specialist will manage incoming questions regarding performance parts, their applications, availability, and assembly. Additionally, this position entails daily response and resolution of customer inquiries. The work schedule is Monday through Friday.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls from performance vehicle enthusiasts, owners, dealers, and club members discussing technical specifications, warranty inquiries, vehicle history, production details, dealer recommendations, and sales of memorabilia or club/event materials.
  • Support account staff in researching, planning, and executing client projects and activities.
  • Under supervision, responsibilities might include:
    • Crafting articles and stories for newsletters.
    • Researching budget details for client projects or proposals.
    • Organizing meetings, setting agendas, and participating in client strategy sessions.
  • Compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and all other company policies, procedures, and processes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • A degree in marketing or business.
  • Must have technical knowledge of cars, especially high-performance vehicles, including engines, drivetrains, and suspensions.
  • Familiarity with aftermarket performance parts, brands, manufacturers, and distributors.
  • Business communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Proven teamwork capabilities.
  • Light travel might be required (up to 4 times a year), with occasional weekend/evening work and attendance at full-day events at locations like racetracks.

  • ASE Certification(s)
  • Dealership experience
  • Advanced computer skills

Additional Information

  • The company operates on a hybrid work model; some in-office days are necessary.
  • A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required.
  • Salary Range: Starting at $41,375.00 annually, negotiable depending on experience.
