Our Automotive Technicians are skilled professionals who can diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive problems across all areas, and they may possess specialized knowledge in certain types of repairs.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation range is $26-$35 per hour on a flat rate basis, with an average total monthly compensation of $6,000 and the potential for increased earnings depending on productivity and hours worked.

We value work-life balance and provide industry-leading paid time off (PTO). New full-time employees accrue four hours per pay period, which amounts to approximately 96 hours in the first year, with incremental increases thereafter.

Hannah Motor Company offers comprehensive health benefits beginning in the first month following 60 days of employment. Hannah Motor Company provides five paid holidays annually to Automotive Technicians, contingent upon the completion of the introductory period and adherence to other eligibility criteria outlined in the company policy.

Automotive Technician Responsibilities: 

  • The technician performs work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, following dealership and factory standards.
  • They diagnose malfunctions and execute repairs, liaise with the parts department for necessary components, and save and label parts if warranted or requested by the customer.
  • The technician inspects the assigned vehicle to assess if additional safety or service actions are advised.
  • They promptly inform the service advisor if extra work is required, if the outlined tasks are unnecessary, or if the repairs cannot be completed within the agreed time.
  • All conducted work and recommendations are documented on the repair order.
  • The technician conducts road tests when necessary or delegates to the test technician.
  • They engage in manufacturer-sponsored training, schools, and events, stay informed about technical bulletins, oversee any assigned apprentice technicians, report equipment defects to their supervisor, and adhere to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know.

Automotive Technician Qualifications: 

  • Required: Prior experience in automotive repair.
  • Must be able to read and understand instructions and information.
  • Possess excellent time management abilities.
  • Capable of physically using computer hardware/software.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Can lift objects weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks.
  • Must have a clean driving record and qualify for company insurance.
