WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Diagnose and inspect guest concerns according to repair order notes.
• Communicate with guests and team leads to identify the nature of mechanical issues through various means, such as inspections, test drives, and statements from advisors or customers.
• Perform all necessary repairs and tasks as specified on repair orders from team leads, doing so with efficiency and precision.
• Work collaboratively with service and parts teams to understand their needs and provide expert service and advice for both guests and dealership vehicles.
• Proactively engage with service/shop teammates and manufacturers to troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise.
• Keep accurate records of all services performed.
• Stay current with the latest mechanical techniques by engaging in ongoing training and professional development.
• Deliver excellent customer service to both dealership teammates and guests.
• Keep the work area tidy and organized, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Obtain and/or maintain ASE Certification
• High school diploma, GED or vocational training OR job-related course work required completed
• Teamwork approach and can-do attitude
• Your own repair tools
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment independently, working with multiple projects and meeting deadlines
• Ability to interpret installation instructions, diagrams and schematics to ensure accuracy and precision
• Strong technical skills and intense desire to learn
• Communication skills and a professional demeanor as there may be times when guests need instruction and information
• Sense of humor and motivation to learn and succeed with a team
