Lia CJDR Northampton is on the lookout for a Level 3 Automotive Technician to become part of our team. We offer a dynamic, professional, and positive workplace that values diligent, dependable, and collaborative team members. Our service departments boast state-of-the-art technology and equipment, such as service drive alignment checkers, alignment racks, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines. A sign-on bonus may be offered depending on skill level and experience.

COMPENSATION RANGE: $60K-$120K+

SIGN ON BONUS: Available up to $10,000 based experience, certifications & qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Over three years of Service Technician experience is required, along with expertise in diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair.
• State Inspection certification is mandatory, WiTech Certification is preferred, and ASE Certification is recommended.
• Candidates must be capable of operating electronic diagnostic equipment, learning new technology, repair, and service procedures, and specifications.
• Proficiency in computer skills is essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A clean and valid driver’s license is also required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out the tasks specified in the repair order efficiently and following dealership protocols.
• Conduct repairs under warranty according to the manufacturer’s standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and evaluate components and systems using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, service, and repair various automotive systems such as the engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Engage in direct communication with the Service Advisor to ensure customers are informed of any additional services required, along with an estimated time for any extra repairs.
