Experience & Qualifications:

  • Requirements include a valid driver’s license, in-depth knowledge of automotive systems and components, and excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential for effective communication with customers.
  • Candidates should have proven experience as an auto mechanic and thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
  • Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic systems and methods is required, along with experience using
  • Hunter Alignment machines, tire balancers, and other related equipment.
  • Proficiency with A/C equipment is also necessary, as is comfort with driving various vehicle types.

Requirements but not limited to:

  • Having your own mechanical tools.
  • ASE certification.
  • State inspection license certification or ability to obtain one.
  • DOT card preferred or willingness to obtain one.
  • Towing and detailing experience might have further opportunities.

Duties:

  • Capable of lifting heavy objects and executing physically strenuous tasks.
  • Skilled in operating welding and soldering tools for metal repairs.
  • Able to inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to accurately identify problems.
  • Performs routine maintenance tasks, such as fluid replacement and part lubrication, to ensure vehicle functionality and longevity.
  • Repairs or replaces malfunctioning parts and resolves issues, such as leaks.
  • Offers precise estimates for the cost, time, and effort required for repair or maintenance jobs.
  • Committed to adhering to all safety measures to prevent accidents and protect against hazardous substances.

  • Starting pay rate from $23.00 to $25.00 an hour, based on license certifications and experience.
