SUMMARY

The individual will be tasked with inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing customer vehicles. Their expertise encompasses, but is not limited to, areas such as engine, transmission, drivability, cooling systems, brake systems, electronics, steering, suspension, and HVAC.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
  • Utilizes diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to test components and systems.
  • Diagnoses, services, and repairs automotive systems such as the engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Engages in direct communication with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required, providing an estimated time for additional repairs.
  • Completes warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Auto Service Technician is essential.
  • ASE certification is mandatory.
  • Applicant must possess a great attitude and strong teamwork skills.
  • A valid in-state driver’s license and automobile insurance are required.
  • The ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information is necessary.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
  • The capacity to learn quickly is a must.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Responsible for ensuring that customer’s cars are kept clean.
  • Expected to maintain a stall in an orderly and clean manner.
  • Must have the ability to identify problems quickly.
  • Should have extensive knowledge of automobiles.
  • Math, reading, and computer skills are essential.
  • Must be able to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
  • Should be capable of operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
