Job Summary:  We are seeking a Service Technician to expand our team. The perfect candidate should possess a robust background as a service technician and be ASE certified. Daily responsibilities entail executing tasks on designated repair orders and determining the necessary repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the tasks specified in the repair order efficiently and in compliance with the dealership’s standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and evaluate components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
• Diagnose, service, and repair various automotive systems such as the engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Engage in direct communication with the Service Advisor to ensure customers are informed about any additional services required and offer an estimated time for any further repairs.
• Perform warranty repairs according to the manufacturer’s specifications.

Qualifications

• Over two years of experience as an Automotive Technician is preferred but not mandatory.
• A high school diploma or equivalent, as well as ASE Certifications, are desired but not essential.
• B level qualifications, including skills in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair, are advantageous but not compulsory.
• The candidate should possess excellent customer service skills and basic computer knowledge.
• A positive and friendly demeanor with a keenness to learn and improve is essential.
• The applicant should enjoy a fast-paced work setting and be able to work well with a team.
• The ability to quickly grasp new technology, repair techniques, and service guidelines is necessary.
• A valid US driver’s license with a clean record is required.
• The candidate must be able to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
